Manchester United have reportedly explored the possibility of signing Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech in the final two weeks of the transfer window.
The Morocco international joined the Blues from Ajax in July 2020, and he has represented the Premier League club on 83 occasions in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in the process.
He racked up 44 appearances for Thomas Tuchel’s side last season but has been an unused substitute in the team’s opening two league matches at the start of the 2022-23 campaign.
United head coach Erik ten Hag is believed to be keen to bring the 29-year-old winger to Old Trafford.
According to journalist Nabil Djellit, United’s hierarchy are ‘more attentive’ to the situation and are willing to sign the Moroccan, providing that the Blues are prepared to accept a cut-price offer.
Ziyech has won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup during his time at Stamford Bridge, while he still has three years left on his current contract.
