Liverpool have reportedly taken the lead in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The 19-year-old has now made 99 appearances for BVB since his arrival from Birmingham City in 2020, netting 13 goals and providing 18 assists in the process.
The Bundesliga outfit have the teenager on a contract until June 2025, but the starlet is widely expected to be on the move at the end of the season, with a recent report suggesting that Manchester United were in a strong position to sign the England international alongside Liverpool.
However, according to The Telegraph, the Reds are at the head of the queue, with the Merseyside outfit prepared to act swiftly to bring him to the club for the 2023-24 campaign.
Dortmund are believed to value the Englishman in the region of £100m.
