Chelsea are reportedly still interested in signing West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice and could reignite their interest during the January transfer window, according to a report.
The England international has a contract at the London Stadium until 2024 with the option of a further year.
According to 90Min, the Blues are still keeping a close eye on Rice’s situation, and the 23-year-old is still at the top of their wishlist for a marquee midfield signing.
The Englishman is supposedly expecting to quit his lengthy spell with the Hammers at the end of the season.
While Chelsea are leading the race, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have all been linked with a swoop, and the Hammers are not giving up hope of Rice signing a new contract.
