Juventus are reportedly ready to lock horns with Barcelona over the signature of Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot amid the uncertainty surrounding his future at Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old has been a key figure for the Red Devils this term, contributing two assists in 11 appearances across all competitions.
He has been the club’s first-choice right-back since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in November 2021.
Dalot has a contract until next June, which has led to a number of speculation surrounding his future.
The Red Devils have the option of activating a one-year extension, while there have been reports that the 20-time English champions are keen to agree a new long-term deal with the Portugal international.
Dalot’s future is uncertain, and the Catalan giants Barcelona have recently been linked with the right-back.
The Blaugrana are believed to have already been in contact with Dalot’s representatives to express an interest in luring him to Camp Nou.
However, according to Calciomercato, there is also a firm interest from Juventus, who are looking to sign a replacement for Juan Cuadrado.
The report adds that the Bianconeri view Dalot as the ideal option due to his ability to also play as a wing-back, while the former Porto youngster has experience in Serie A following his time at Milan.
