Leicestershire announces the signing of India’s out-of-favour batter Ajinkya Rahane for the 2023 season.
The county confirms Rahane’s arrival in June after IPL duty with Chennai Super Kings.
His availability confirmed for the entire August Royal London Cup with Leicestershire.
Leicestershire adds Rahane as third overseas signing alongside Wiaan Mulder and Naveen-ul-Haq.
In 82 Tests, Rahane has accumulated 4931 runs with a 38.5 average and 12 centuries.
