Arsenal have been in trouble, that striker Lukas Podolski is facing three weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
The Germany international has played well for the Gunners in the opening games of the premier league season but he is now on rest for three weeks after damaging his hamstring on tuesday night against Fenerbahce.
“We paid a heavy price on the injury front because we lost Podolski,” Wenger said, “Podolski’s definitely out for 21 days.”
Somehow, Wenger is now hoping that Podolski should be fit to face Tottenham on sunday in the big north London derby.
