Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester City.
Although the 25-year-old is currently attempting to win the Serie A title with Napoli, speculation emerges that the playmaker will take on a new challenge elsewhere later in 2022.
A number of clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and Newcastle United are all said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a possible bid during the summer.
However, according to journalist Antonio Giordano, City boss Pep Guardiola may take the opportunity to try to bring the Spaniard to his midfield options at the Etihad Stadium.
Ruiz has scored six goals and provided three assists in 22 league appearances this season.
