Chelsea have emerged as rumoured suitors for Lille striker Jonathan David.
The Blues are expected to spend big on a new centre-forward, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang said to be on the verge of leaving the club after just one season.
PSG are believed to be keen on Aubameyang, who has failed to impress the West Londoners since his arrival from Barcelona over the summer.
There remains speculation surrounding Lukaku’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea head coach Graham Potter said to be keen to bring in his own centre-forward.
According to Jeunes Footeux, the manager is a huge admirer of Lille’s Jonathan David, viewing him as the ideal acquisition during next summer’s transfer window.
Chelsea could face strong competition from Real Madrid, though, with the La Liga giants also believed to be looking to bring the Canada international in ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for Les Dogues this season, contributing nine goals and two assists in 11 appearances in France’s top flight.
David still has another three years remaining on his contract.
