Manchester United have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Sporting Lisbon wonderkid Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in the January transfer window.
According to O Jogo, United are prepared to up their efforts to secure a deal for Issahaku, who is in line to be named in the final 26-player squad at the World Cup.
The report adds that Everton are also keeping tabs on him very closely. He joined Sporting Lisbon this summer and has made six appearances including two in the Champions League.
While the 18-year-old is yet to make a start for the Portuguese giants this season, the teenager has been provided with five substitute appearances.
The midfielder possesses a contract at Estadio Jose Alvalade until the end of 2025-26.
