Manchester United have reportedly completed a deal to secure the signature of 16-year-old forward Alejandro Garnacho from Atletico Madrid.
Atleti’s rivals Real Madrid were also credited with an interest, while Borussia Dortmund were said to be monitoring the teenager’s progress too.
The starlet came through the ranks at Atletico and had been featuring with their Under-19s side last season.
Marca reports that Manchester United have won the race for Garnacho, who will join the Old Trafford outfit this week.
The starlet, who established himself as one of the highly talented strikers in Atletico’s youth team, will sign a five-year contract with the Red Devils.
Garnacho becomes the latest teen on his way to Manchester this summer following the arrivals of Marc Jurado and Alvaro Fernandez from Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
