Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Real Madrid, According to AS report.
Los Blancos have set their sights on the 28-year-old, who is now a ‘priority’ for the Champions League holder’s president Florentino Perez.
It is understood, City would not consider anything less than €70m, according to the report.
However, the Portuguese defender recently signed a new contract with City that runs until 2027 and expressed his desire to stay in Manchester as long as possible.
“I hope to stay many more years, because here is where I feel good,” the full-back told the club magazine.
Cancelo has established himself as one of Pep Guardiola’s key players, racking up 19 appearances for the club in all competitions so far this season.
