Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Argentine defender Gabriel Mercado, according to The Mirror.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to strengthen his defence department after Kolo Toure was released by the German technician last week, and now it seems Mercado has emerged as a potential target.

The 29-year-old versatile defende can play in central defence or in midfield, is a big attraction for Klopp, who is said to be interested in a deal to bring him to Premier League this summer.
Klopp is desperate to rebuild his squad ahead of next season and defence is the area he is looking to bolster.
